About BOLD & EQUITY

Why we exist - Bold & Equity is a Canadian infrastructure development and project finance platform, incorporated in Canada and headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. We originate, structure, and sponsor bankable infrastructure transactions across emerging and frontier markets — with a current focus on West Africa.

Infrastructure does not fail in Africa because capital is unavailable. It fails because projects are not structured in a way that institutional investors can underwrite. Bold & Equity exists to close that structural gap.

We operate at the intersection of three worlds that rarely speak the same language — sovereign governments holding strategic assets, technical operators with execution capability, and international institutional capital seeking deployable opportunities. Our role is to make those worlds intelligible to each other, and to build the structures that allow all three to say yes.

We are not advisers. We are the lead sponsor. We control the deal architecture from inception, secure government mandates, and structure the SPV before any capital partner enters the room. Our economics are tied entirely to transaction close — we earn nothing unless the deal closes.

Our Institutional Partners

Our founder brings direct institutional experience inside Export Development Canada, PSP Investments, and Bombardier — giving Bold & Equity operational familiarity with the Canadian financing institutions, Crown pension funds, and export credit agencies we engage as partners. We are in active dialogue with development finance institutions, Canadian institutional investors, and technical partners across our current mandate pipeline.
